This ammunition features a rimless, slightly tapered cartridge case. The projectile is typically a .355 or 3.56 diameter, available in weights from 90 grains to 165 grains in many different bullet styles.

Created in 1901 by Georg Luger it is consider to be the most popular and widely available handgun cartridge. 9x19mm is the standard pistol caliber of NATO countries as well as many non NATO nations.
