45 ACP (.451) 230 Grain Round Nose Grooveless Coated Bullets

Our premium cast  45 caliber 230 Grain Round Nose lead bullets are now available in a coated grooveless version. These 45 ACP 230 Grain Round Nose NLG coated bullets are the same bullet profile as our traditional cast lead bullets, just without the lube groove.  These bullets are cast using our standard 96-6-2 lead alloy. Then they are coated with two coats of Hi-Tek Supercoat Bullet Coating, heat-treated and sized. This coating is specifically designed for bullets and will not leave lead fouling or other residues in your barrel. In addition, coated bullets produce less smoke than traditional lubed lead bullets. These bullets have been tested in polygonal barrels and have delivered great accuracy and reliability. With our 45 ACP round nose coated bullets you can reload quality ammunition for less.

A great alternative to these coated bullets would be our 45 ACP 230 Grain Round Nose plated bullets.

These bullets are sized to a .451 diameter. If you would like them sized to .452 please email us and/or note it in the order comments. We will be happy to accommodate you. Please note that custom sizing will add a 7-10 day delay to shipping the order.

We recommend using comparable lead bullet loading data from a reliable source as a starting point. Increase your powder load incrementally until you achieve your desired power and accuracy.
